Lovely Tunes: José González

Hello everybody!
Today I want to share with you a couple of videos from José González who is a Swedish–Argentine indie folk singer-songwriter and guitarist from Gothenburg, Sweden. I remember when I first listened to this amazing song called "Heartbeats" in a tv-commercial for Sony and then I started digging a little and try to find who was the singer behind the video. Although "Heartbeats" is a cover from the swedish band The Knife, it became very popular with Gonzalez's cover in the Sony commercial. 

On sundays I love listening to relaxing music!

[Skincare] Recetas Naturales para la piel. Hoy: Mascarilla Anti-Edad

Ingredientes:
Un pepino pequeño (pelado y sin semillas)
Dos cucharadas de manzanilla (reposado y colado)
Dos cucharadas de té verde (reposado y colado)
Una cucharada de gel de aloe vera
Una cucharada grande de gelatina en polvo sin sabor

Licuar el pepino y conservar el jugo. En una cacerola agregar la infusión de manzanilla, te verde y gelatina en polvo. Revolver a fuego lento hasta que la gelatina se disuelva. Retirar del fuego y colocar mezcla en un recipiente de vidrio. Colocar el jugo de pepino con el gel de aloe vera. Luego refrigerar por aproximadamente 25 minutos o hasta que la mezcla comience a espesar. Aplicar en el rostro y cuello y dejar secar durante unos 20 minutos. Una vez secado, retirar máscara desde arriba hacia abajo. Enjuagar con agua tibia y secar.


El jugo de pepino es un astringente que estira la piel y suaviza las arrugas y líneas finas.
La Manzanilla y el té verde ayudan enormemente a aliviar la hinchazón, y el gel de aloe vera nutre la piel .

(English version)

Ingredients:
A small cucumber (peeled and seeded)
Two tbls of chamomile (steep and strain)
Two tbls of green tea (steep and strain)
One tbl of aloe vera gel
One tbl of unflavored powdered gelatin

Blend cucumber and keep the juice. In a saucepan add the chamomile tea, green tea and powdered gelatin. Stir over low heat until gelatin is dissolved. Remove mixture from heat and pour it into a glass container. Place the cucumber juice with aloe vera gel. Then refrigerate for about 25 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken. Apply on face and neck and let it dry for about 20 minutes. Once dried, remove mask from forehead to chin. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

*The cucumber juice is an astringent that tightens the skin and smoothes wrinkles and fine lines.
*Chamomile and green tea help relieve puffiness, and aloe vera gel nourishes and moisturizes the skin.
